I purchased the turbo stamper (or as I call it, the “Big-Ass Stamper” or #BAS) from Jolie Polish months & months ago, but I didn’t have a blog at the time so I couldn’t write a proper review. I did flap my gums a bit in an Instablog review for the Wizard of Oz mani that I did, which can be found here.
Lawd chyle, this thang is huge. As you can see, it’s about four times the size of an XL stamper from Fab Ur Nails, about which I wrote this blog review.

I spent seven months searching for a graphic artist/designer to create my new BravesDiva brand image.
Y’all. Seriously. Seven damn months. (7!)
As expected, everyone to whom I reached out charged $60-$100/hour. Umm thanks but no thanks. Even though I knew *exactly* what I wanted my logo to look like, and figured that there would be minimal work involved for an experienced GA, I couldn’t swing a $300-$400 invoice. #BallinOnABudget

I’ve always adored my BravesDiva image and I’m very attached to it, but if/when I get to the point where I’m makin’ money off’a my brand (soon, I hope), I can’t very well do it while incorporating the logo of a professional sports team.
I was pretty pumped when I saw an Instagram post from Beautometry around mid- to late-February advertising a pre-order of MoYou London stamping plates for $6 each (they’re regularly priced at $9.75/ea). I mean, what nail stamping maven wouldn’t wanna get in on some’a that action?
I didn’t own any MYL plates at the time, and word on the skreets is that they’re a leader in the stamping world because they manufacture “amazing” plates.

I finally had some time last week to review the water decals that I received from Lady Queen. I hadn’t used water decals in so long, I’d forgotten how great they are. Perfect for some quick nail art & super easy to apply.
The Lady Queen decals were no different. They were a piece’a cake to put on & these flowers are just gorgeous.
Don’t forget, I have a code for y’all to use that’ll save ya 15% off sitewide at ladyqueen.com — ZAQS15

I’ll be honest with ya…when I applied the first decal, my initial thought was, “OMG NAIL FAIL!” but I immediately had a moment of inspiration, added an additional technique & salvaged the second nail. *fist bump* Continue reading “Review of Lady Queen Water Decals”
Most nail artists prolly have a liquid latex product in their arsenal, and more than likely they’ve tried more than one brand. I already have a favorite latex that I use in my messy nail art designs, but when I discovered Nail Experiments (NE) on Instagram, I was intrigued. I mean, lookit these pritty colorrrrrrrsssss! *heart eyes emoji*

A few weeks ago when I was traveling home from vacation, I saw an Instagram post from NE advertising a 15% off code for Easy Peel (EP) that was good until midnight of that night. It was 10 p.m. & I was on a road trip from hell with nothin’ better to do in the car but shop. Duh.
Even though I have a latex that I adore, it’s not yellow. And, by gawd, I wanted a yellow one. Yellow is the color of happiness, amirite?
I bounced over to the NE website, happily selected my happy yellow (there are 15 colors — FIFTEEN! — from which to choose, btw…) & happily threw that bad boy into my cart. But at some point during the checkout process, I got an error message that said “The yellow Easy Peel can’t be shipped to the U.S.” Whaaaat? Nooooo! This sucked the happiness right outta me. So I ran back to the IG post & told Elena about the ordering snafu. Continue reading “Review of Easy Peel Latex Barrier By Nail Experiments”
