This one-coat coral creme gets its name from, who else?, Cy Young Award winner and Hall of Fame pitcher John Smoltz.
“Smoltzie,” as he is so aptly nicknamed, won the Cy Young Award in 1996, one year after helping the Braves to a World Series championship. Tommy John surgery sidelined him during the entire 2000 season, and upon his return to the game in 2001, the starter was converted to a reliever. This Michigan native is the only pitcher in major league history to record 200 wins & 150 saves.
Smoltzie swatches & macros shown in artificial lighting. And as you can see, it also stamps & water marbles beautifully.
I use high-quality & highly saturated pigments in my products, so staining is possible. It’s always advisable to apply a worthy base coat, especially under darker colored polishes.
