Since my water marble skills leave a lot to be desired, I’ve been thirstin’ for a stamping plate that would make me appear as though I am a WM’ing goddess.
The humongous Chez Delaney plate turns me on like no man ever has, but til it’s available for purchase in the U.S., my options are très limited.
I mean, LOOKIT THIS PLATE! *faints dead out*
So while I pine away for dear Delaney, I went ahead & purchased the Bundle Monster + Sloteazzy water marble plate. The images are beautiful, so it should tide me over for a while.
YouTube review video & swatch pics after the jump. So let’s grab a beer & chat.
This plate is $4.99 + shipping on BM’s website, but it’s also included in a five-piece set of blogger collab plates for $19.99. I didn’t want all’a those other ones, so I plopped down my $7, or whatever it was, and got the single.
When it arrived in my box o’ mails a few days later, it had definitely seen better days. *womp womp*
But I emailed BM & their fab customer service team sent me a replacement, so all was right with the world. Thanks, Bundle Monster!
Watch my YT vid for all the deets & to see this baby in action.
As evidenced by the pic below, all of the images pick up & transfer flawlessly. I ain’t mad at BM for makin’ me spend $7, or whatever it was. Money well spent, IMO.
One thing that I should’ve mentioned in that long-ass movie was how well the images are etched. They’re deep & groovy, and they shred the shit outta my paper towels during the cleaning process.
I spent more time cleanin’ off little, pink, dead paper towel balls than I spent *actually* stamping. No lie.
But I love, love, love the finished look.
Aaaaaand here’s some gratuitous macro action. *all of the heart eyes emojis*
One of the images on this plate (the one in the bottom right-hand corner) reminds me so much of the sorcery that nail artist Wendy (IG’s StuckOnLacquer) conjures in her little cup o’ magic. This chick can water marble two & three different bullseyes in one cup & marry em together flawlessly. She’s amaze!

I’m bouta take over the world of double & triple water marbles with my fakery, so WATCH OUT, WENDY GIRL! *muahaha muahahaha muahahahahaha*
Note: for this review, I used Pueen Super Intense Neon Pink stamping polish & my Creative Shop space collection stamper (white w/gold shimmer) that I purchased from whatsupnails. I’m also wearing Orly White Tips polish on my swatch hand.
Overall, I’m supes happy with this water marble stamping plate.
- Images are beautiful & they transfer like a dream
- Plate is very detailed & etched perfectly
- BM should look into reinforcing the stamping plates that it ships so that they don’t get all bent up by the United States Postal Service
- I’m gonna throw the price of the plate under the “cons” section, only because $4.99 is a bit steep for only seven images
- This isn’t really a “con,” but more of a “beware” — Rest In Peace, paper towels
See y’all next time!
